WANTED:
People from the East Midlands who have opinions on how their local area could grow or change.

If you ever wanted to have a say about how your neighbourhood, village, town or city develops now is the time!

The Regional Assembly is developing the Regional Plan for the East Midlands which will set out the vision for growth and development over the next 15-20 years. Believe it or not, the Regional Plan directly influences how your local area develops in terms of (for example) housing, green space or business space, so commenting now will influence how your area may change in the future.

East Midlands Planning Aid is giving free advice and support to people wanting to find out more about the regional plan and planning in general. A number of free training events are being held in November and December this year which are open to members of the voluntary and community sector. A helpline offering free advice is open to anyone in the East Midlands with a planning query 0870 850 9802.
