Youth Shadow Board

The Youth Shadow Board meets every Wednesday at the One Stop Shop in the Bridgeway Centre, and is open to anyone aged 14 - 18 years who live in the Meadows and would like to be more involved in making where they live better for young people.

The 5 Key principles of the Shadow Board are:

to work with adults and get our views across and making sure that all young people's voices are heard and valued
to support young people from the Meadows to do more activities
to raise money for other young people in the Meadows
to celebrate young people from the Meadows who do well
to give us a volunteering experience that helps us go to college or get work after we turn 16

We're currently looking for a young people that can design and develop our social networking through Facebook, Twitter etc and also articles from young people for Meadows Matters.
