The New Meadows Tenant & Resident Association (NEMTRA) has been formed since August 2005. We are a relatively new association and are looking to grow and build on what we have achieved so far. We hope to help encourage the development of a greater sense of community for the residents of the New Meadows.
We have already developed strong links with Nottingham City Homes, the Police, Wardens and the Meadows Partnership Trust. We are looking to further develop these relationships to better support our local community. This year we are going to work more closely with OMTRA to both promote the Meadows as a whole.

On the 17th July NEMTRA had a community planting afternoon in the Meadows. We have “reclaimed” 5 of the brick planters on Kelso Gardens which were full of weeds and rubbish and planted them with beautiful new plants for everyone to enjoy. Children from a local after school club came along and got stuck in with the planting too. Lothmore Court Sheltered Housing Scheme also kindly opened their doors to us for a buffet dinner for the hungry workers after the event. We are really hoping that the community will help and support us try to brighten up the New Meadows with more plants and flowers.
