VICTORIA EMBANKMENT BANDSTAND

There will be a Public Meeting on Tuesday 2nd February 2010 to debate the future of the BANDSTAND on the Victoria Embankment. It is being held in the Training Suite at Portland Leisure Centre, commencing at 7 pm.

Do you want to see the Banstand destroyed? Or do you want to keep it? Come along and give us your views.

ACTION MORNINGS

As part of FOVE's commitment to improve the Victoria Embankment, we hold regular "Action Mornings". There are number of tasks to choose from including planting, weeding, digging, pruning etc. There is always a Park Ranger from Nottingham City Council on hand to provide tools and support. Everyone is welcome to join us for these Action Mornings, in fact, the more the merrier!

During the summer months, April to September, we meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month; and in the winter months, the 2nd Saturday only. We meet at the left hand side (when facing the river) of the Memorial Gardens at 10am for two hours.

Please note that we do not have Action Mornings in December and January.
