The Crime and Community Safety Public meetings are held every 2 months. Residents are invited to attend to raise any concerns, issues or problems that they have. These problems may be affecting you personally, other people or the Meadows area as a whole. Representatives from the Meadows Police Beat Teams and Community Protection Team are always in attendance at the meetings, and are there for you to speak to. The Police also provide us with up to date crime statistics for the area, so we can see what is happening crime wise within the Meadows.
All issues that are raised at the meeting are then taken forward to a Partners meeting the following week. The services that attend the Partners meeting are for example, Nott's Police, Nott's Fire Service, Nottingham City Homes (NCH), Youth Service, Street Scene etc. We all then pool ideas together to try and solve the problems that have been raised at the Public meeting. When these actions have been passed on to the relevant partner, they report back to us at The Meadows Partnership Trust, so we can then update you the residents at the next C&C Public meeting.
This meeting is to help you, the Meadows residents to make your area a better and safer place, and to help improve you quality of life. If you do not attend the meetings and raise your concerns, we will not know what is affecting you, and therefore cannot take action to change this.
The Meeting dates for 2010 are as follows:
